MSG-2270 FM-AM STANDARD SIGNAL GENERATOR

The MSG-2270 Series are synthesized standard signal generators to design for generating signals in the AM and FM broadcast frequency ranges, 100kHz to 110MHz respectively. Use of a PLL system ensures high accuracy and stability in the carrier generation. Frequency and amplitude modulation, singly or simultaneously, can be applied to the RF carrier.
The RF output ranges from -20 to +99dBµV and can be set in 0.1dB steps. It has been developed for rapid operation by using its memory functions controlled with front panel keys and any frequency, modulation and output level combinations can be stored at up to 100 points in the memory function.

< FEATURES >

1. All operation function are microprocessor-controlled and set values are displayed in digital form.


2. It covers the frequency range, 100kHz to 110MHz, for AM and FM broadcast frequency ranges and it is suitable  for testing multi-band receivers in the production line.

   

3. Carrier frequencies are locked with a crystal oscillator for high stability.


4. Frequencies are displayed in 6-digit form for accuracy in readout.


5. Output level range is -20 to +99dBµ with 2-digit readout.


6. The attenuators are completely non-mechanical with the use of semiconductors for high speed switching action with no wear.


7. Back-up battery is provided to retain memory contents when the line power is cut off.


8. The GP-IB interface bus ( comforting to IEEE ) is provided as standard, enabling to connect a personal computor.
